Under the general direction of the Vice President Clinical Services and in collaboration with radiologists and other key leadership personnel, the Diagnostic Imaging Services Director provides leadership in organizing and administering all modalities within Diagnostic Imaging Services by ensuring that services are provided in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include managing and providing high quality, cost-effective, customer oriented service in the functional area of Diagnostic Imaging and areas of responsibility within the key values of Lake health with a focus on the patient and family experience, physician relations, safety, quality improvement, and program development for the effective organization of services provided. The Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services works collaboratively within the organization, across service lines and departments to ensure the effective operation of the organization.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in management, business administration, or related area
License/Certification: Current registration in the State of Ohio as a Radiology Technician
Experience: Five or more years of professional leadership experience in the health care industry/hospital operations
Able to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of staff engaged in various technical and clerical functions within a healthcare system.
Able to exercise considerable judgement and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
Able to align diagnostic imaging services with Lake Health strategic goals.
