The selected professional will direct daily operations for Radiology Services with 24-hour responsibility as well as provide leadership and work closely with department staff and radiologists to guide technical and operational direction, planning and coordination of services. Will also be responsible for program planning and development, equipment and facilities planning, staff development and training, budget preparation, regulatory compliance, radiological supplies, productivity and performance improvement.
Requires an ARRT in at least two modalities (R, M, CT, MR, QM, BD) RDMS along with a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Master’s degree in business, science or healthcare administration is preferred. Must have 5 years of management experience in a multi-disciplinary radiology department, strong background working with RIS/PACS and implementing new technology, and the ability and initiative to grow outpatient volumes in all imaging modalities modalities, including diagnostic radiology, CT, Mammography, MRI, Ultrasonography and Nuclear Medicine. Additionally, requires demonstrated change management experience and effective physician relationship skills.
