Maine Medical Center is seeking a CT Manager in Portland. The manager is responsible for overall direction and supervision of the CT Division of the Department of Radiology. The manager works closely with the CT Division Medical Director and Department of Radiology senior management to ensure that the CT Division provides high quality comprehensive CT services to patients of all clinical service lines while achieving divisional, departmental, and institutional service delivery and clinical objectives.
Completion of and graduation from a two year program in an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Certification and current registration as a Radiologic Technologist with CT subspecialty registration with the ARRT.
Current State of Maine License as a Radiologic Technologist.
Four years of experience as Senior CT Technologist, CT Supervisor, or CT Manager, in addition to six years of experience as a CT Technologist.
A Bachelor’s degree in CT, Radiologic Technology, associated health sciences, or other health care related field is preferred. Prior large hospital imaging department management experience may be considered acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all CT scanning procedures, techniques, equipment and materials used, as well as a high level of proficiency in performing all such procedures.
Knowledge of current JCAHO standards and requirements for provision of CT services in a hospital environment.
Proven leadership and management skills to achieve and sustain a clinically proficient, motivated and engaged team of professional technical staff and to support close working collaboration with other Departmental and Institutional Managers, Directors, and Senior Leaders.
Financial management skills sufficient to prepare and manage capital and operating budgets.
