The School of Diagnostic Imaging Director plans and implements an approved and accredited program for the education of Diagnostic Imaging Technologists according to standards set by the State and National Standards of an Accredited Program. Develops and implements policies pertaining to the school. Responsible for the didactic and clinical curriculum and assures that the goals and objectives of the program are met.
Master's degree required.
A minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Technologist.
Must have two years experience teaching in an accredited program.
Proficient in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction and counseling.
Requires interpersonal skills sufficient to persuade and interact effectively with a variety of staff, management, and medical directors.
Requires strong verbal and written skills to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Must be able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary (developed through education, training, and/or experience) to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
