The Imaging Manager is responsible for assisting the Director in managing all aspects of the services provided by the Imaging Department inclusive of computerized tomography, magnetic resonance, diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, and other related radiological procedures. Assists the director in the operation of the clinical areas and oversees related clerical activities.

Bachelor's degree required.
5 years' experience within the field, of which 1 year must have been in a managerial role in healthcare; for internals, 5 years' experience in relevant field with HM performance that demonstrates leadership responsibility.
Must be familiar with the operations of a filmless/digital radiology department.
Registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) thru the Texas Medical Board required, except if registry is an Ultrasound and MRI modality.
American Heart Association BLS required.
Must have a registry from any of the following credentialing bodies: Registered ARRT, ARDMS, CCI, ARMRIT, or NMTCB
Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, and competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.
Background in using Picture Archiving Computer Systems (PACS) preferred
