Operates radiographic equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications. Follows imaging protocols for ordered exams. Obtains optimum diagnostic imaging following ALARA principals. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.
Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
Completes required exams.
Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
Associate in Science Degree preferred
Previous CT experience or CT training program attendance
2 years recent experience in CT scan technology is required.
ARRT registered in Radiology;
Florida RT license, American Heart Association BLS certification.
Per Diem Variable schedule includes rotating weekends
