Performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Participates in PI activities
Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities)
Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
One year of ultrasound imaging experience preferred.
Specific experience and training in Ultrasound.
Registered with the ARDMS with VT Certification
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Basic computer knowledge.
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered with the ARDMS with VT Certification.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) in English.
Ability to write legibly (Clinical Areas).
Additional languages desirable.
