The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking a dynamic board certified / board eligible radiation oncologist to work at Akron General Hospital starting in the summer of 2021. Cleveland Clinic Akron General is the Southern Hub of Cleveland Clinic’s regional system. The center is closely integrated with the main campus and our seven other regional sites in Northeast Ohio. Residents who will be finishing in 2021 are encouraged to apply.
The candidate would become an integral member of the multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient-centered care by embracing our core values of teamwork, innovation, quality and safety, integrity, inclusion and empathy. The ideal candidate would also have experience with pediatric cancers and prostate brachytherapy. The center provides a full range of radiation oncology external beam and brachytherapy services and is integrated with a comprehensive group of oncologic subspecialists. The center has two TrueBeam linear accelerators, a CT scanner, MIM Software, MOSAIQ EMR, and Pinnacle TPS. Brachytherapy and Gamma Knife radiosurgery are also offered.
