Southeast Georgia Health System is committed to providing the communities it serves with the highest possible standard of care using advanced technology. We recently began providing an innovative screening method at our breast imaging locations: Genius 3D Mammography using the MammoPad® breast cushion and SmartCurve™ breast stabilization. Compared to 2D mammograms, 3D mammograms reduce unnecessary callbacks by as much as 40% and improve early detection rates, finding 20-65% more invasive breast cancers. We're seeking an experienced leader to oversee and coordinate our dedicated team of Mammography Technologists as we seek to provide the highest quality care to the members of our coastal community. As our Mammography Team Leader, you will function as an extension of the Manager & Director in carrying out essential department responsibilities. In this role, you will: • Provide direct patient care, ensuring the highest quality patient experience from self and Mammography staff
• Communicate leadership information to staff efficiently and consistently
• Orient and train newly hired Mammography Technologists, providing clinical instruction as appropriate
• Facilitate appropriate staffing levels and scheduling, ensuring fairness and consistency
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements for Mammography MQSA and ACR accreditation
• Participate in breast care grant promotions, funding, education, and community outreach
• Collaborate with Radiologists and Medical Providers to provide quality images
• Maintain confidential and accurate records, manually and electronically, to ensure appropriate patient data is available
• Evaluate accuracy and quality of imaging for self and staff including procedure and supply charges for billing purposes Must haves: • Graduate of ARRT approved Radiology program
• ARRT(R)(M) required
• American Heart Association BLS
• 5 years of experience within a hospital setting, supervisory experience preferred Benefits: • Comprehensive benefits package
