Seattle Radiologists has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Technologist to join our dynamic team! The Lead Technologist works with the imaging center team to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures.

The Lead Tech participates with the imaging center team to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of tasks to support the technologist, and patient workflow.
Operations Management: Provides leadership and direction in the day-to-day processes and workflow of the CT/X-ray technical areas utilizing effective communication skills with technologist team. Assists Imaging Center Manager with coordinating regular staff schedules and arranging coverage for both planned and unplanned absences.
Patient Satisfaction: Proactively and consistently seeks to understand the needs of our customers and patients. Empowers team to meet and anticipate customer and patient needs.
Quality and Safety: Ensures quality, safety and related regulatory requirements are maintained including oversight of monthly QA image submission, contrast reaction/extravasation tracking, and modality safety training. Works with Imaging Center Manager to ensure staff understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures, providing training and guidance of new policies and procedures as required.
Collaboration: Actively builds effective working relationships and trust within the technologist team and between all areas of the practice, internally and externally, ensuring all team members are treated with respect. Coaches and provides feedback to team encouraging opportunities to identify problems and challenges, and develop creative consensus-building solutions.
Teamwork: Assists in technologist hiring process; trains and evaluates new team members; actively builds a cohesive team ensuring team meets set and agreed-upon accountabilities. Fosters an atmosphere of positive attitude and teamwork; encourages other staff members to do the same.
Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other equivalent course of study.
Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required (WA State X-ray license, ARRT).
Current certification in Healthcare Provider CPR.
Minimum 2 years CT experience preferred
