Oversees the planning and implementation of the Planned Giving Program Assists in advancing the philanthropic commitments of patients, physicians, employees, community members and others in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and donors' wishes.
Recruits, motivates, organizes, manages, mentors, trains and leads staff in a manner which promotes professional accomplishments and career enhancement.
Interfaces with outside service providers such as attorneys and accountants in management of strategic partnerships and pursuit of evaluation negotiations and programmatic opportunities Oversees the organization and analysis of prospect research data to support Planned Giving.
Serves on committees as assigned, to maintain awareness and understanding of clinic, hospital, physician and program needs in order to plan and recommend appropriate fundraising strategies.
Develops and manages a successful personal portfolio of leadership giving prospects and serves as a strategist for moves management and donor cultivation activities.
Interacts internally and externally with legal and consultants as needed in role to facilitate gifts.
Organizes and provides fundraising advice and support to the organization at large.
Staffs and briefs the leadership on leadership giving opportunities.
Builds and successfully cultivates and solicits from a personal prospect portfolio of approximately 50-75 prospects, including VIP prospects.
Recognizes opportunities and problems early and takes necessary steps to achieve goals.
Generates innovative solutions and ideas that support the goals of the Foundation and the organization, and participates in the implementation of same.
Keeps leadership informed of issues and seeks direction when appropriate.
Maintains the confidentiality of information coming into and being disseminated out of the Foundation.
