Job Summary: The Marketing Manager for New Talent Strategies will develop, manage and analyze strategic marketing programs in support of attracting, recruiting, onboarding and engaging team members at Duke University Health System. The Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with marketing, human capital partners to leverage existing resources with a focus on employer brand, recruitment marketing and candidate experience initiatives. Through the lens of equity, these initiatives will emphasize the value proposition of working at DUHS.
Employer Brand: Activates employer brand strategy for DUHS to drive general and segmented awareness for potential candidates. Leverages multiple social media channels and engages with users to tell our story and maximize our reach. Develops employee brand ambassadors to support employer efforts.
Recruitment Marketing: Develops, plans and implements an effective recruitment marketing strategy for DUHS that delivers quality candidates to our career opportunities. Works with recruitment marketing agency on media buys. Oversees design and experience of career sites and landing pages. Ensures vendors' expression of the Duke brand meets guidelines and represents us as desired.
Candidate Experience: Through collaboration, plays a key role in support of a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruiting, pre-boarding, orientation and onboarding processes. Provides communication templates to recruitment team for sourcing efforts and social media promotion. Develops communication, resources and websites to support new team members.
Internal Communication: Supports and facilitates needs for internal communication related in support of employer brand programs including employee referral program, sign-on bonus communication and internal job fairs.
Content: Manages employee photo shoots, writes scripts and oversees video production for asynchronous video interview platform. Provides creative direction support where needed. Identifies stories and content to use in brand and marketing efforts.
Community: Promotes the development of community partnerships by providing event materials, fact sheets and presentations. Ensures booth set up is kept up-to-date.
Analytics: Continuously uses data to assess return on investment and success of various marketing and outreach efforts. Uses employee and candidate surveys to inform strategies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, marketing, communications or a related field in required.
Four years of related experience in marketing, marketing communication, or communications, with demonstrated experience in driving the implementation of strategic marketing plans and tactics. Work experience should include participation in strategic plan development and expertise in tactics that range from collateral material creation and development, to special event management, to highly targeted, audience-specific initiatives.
