This position is located within VAMC Lebanon, Behavioral Health Service Line. The primary responsibilities will be for psychological assessments, treatments, and the clinical functions in a Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) setting. Major duties include, but may not be limited to: Individual Psychotherapy, including Evidence-Based Psychotherapy; Clinical / Diagnostic Interviews; Psychological Testing; Objective/Projective/Intelligence/Safety/Risk; Group Psychotherapy; Specialized Treatment of Substance Abuse; Specialized Treatment of PTSD Conditions; Behavioral Assessment; Compensation and Pension examinations; Brief psychotherapy within medical clinic settings; Perform routine VISTA and CPRS functions as a clinical provider; Complete directed consults and discuss with attending physician regarding management plan; Participate as a member of the Clinical Treatment Team(s); Complies with all CPRS documentation procedures, including timeliness standards for documentation, and proper patient check-out/workload capture procedures; Attends and participates in administrative and informational meetings held by the Behavioral Health and Sciences Care Line; Completes any administrative duties as assigned by ACOS or supervisor; Participates with colleagues on program evaluation projects designed to provide information regarding relevant treatment approaches; Completes assigned administrative duties; Serves on any assigned medical center committees.
