This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Along with general patient care, periodontist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, providing preventative care and dental implants. Travel between 3 duty sites on a regular basis will be required : Canandaigua, Bath and Rochester Bath - Tuesday, Thursday Canandaigua - Wednesday , Friday Rochester - Monday The responsibilities of a periodontist include performing surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating conditions, and establishing treatment programs to monitor oral health. Placement of dental implants Performing periodontal surgical procedures. Diagnosing and treating periodontal conditions. Developing treatment plans.
