JOB SUMMARYThe Point of Care (PoC) Coordinator supervises, establishes and monitors PoC testing according to accepted Laboratory practices and regulatory agencies. Cooperates with internal and external customers, collaborating with other team members and disciplines in coordination of patient care.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEEstablishes testing and quality control procedures for all POC testing. Monitors the recording and reporting of test results.Monitors all required documentation and quality control results at each POC testing location.
