The role you’ll contribute:

Provides a leadership role in the CT department by instituting protocols, policy and procedures, and monitors the quality of the CT procedures performed.

·       Assists others within the department to maintain quality care.

·       Assists radiologists/physicians when needed.

·       Assists with and maintains the ACR accreditation for their area.

·       Attends hospital and departmental meetings.

·       Utilizes the AIDET principles when interacting with patients, visitors and coworkers.

·       Complies with The Joint Commission requirements related to their duties.

·       Complies with regulations under the HIPAA law.

·       Coordinates and assists with orientation of new employees when appropriate.

·       Demonstrates an organized approach to daily workload

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Academic and clinical training in CT
• Experience in CT
• Minimum of a two (2) year college degree
• State of Florida License in Certified Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
