The role you’ll contribute:

The Cardiovascular Tech III will deliver safe and effective patient care as defined by AdventHealth's Mission, Vision, and Core Values and is consistent with the standards of care for this discipline.  This position requires proficiency in performing cardiac diagnostic tests for the determination, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac disorders.  This position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relating to the field of Cardiology.

• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms
• Performs transesophageal echocardiograms
• Performs Doppler analysis.
• Performs color flow analysis
• Performs carotid and stress test echocardiograms.
• Records, processes, files and charges daily pertinent patient data relative to job duties.
• Performs qualify assessment and participates in performance improvement.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

REQUIRED:

Please be advised that all licenses and certifications listed are not required. If you only have one or some of those listed, you may still be eligible for this position.

•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

•Diagnostic Sonographer Credentialing Accepted from:

•American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

•Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

•Must possess two of the following registry certifications (one from each category): •Echocardiography

•Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or

•Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and

•Vascular Ultrasound

•Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or

•Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
