Monday-Friday, plus call
Needed multi-modality Radiological Technologist, responsible for taking quality radiographs and working with other radiological technologists in general radiography and CT procedures. Must be able to work independently in all areas of radiography including the emergency and operating room. Position requires standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback, and technologists must be able to respond to the facility in less than thirty (30) minutes. Ability to make contact in a calm, professional manner with people who may be under physical and emotional stress. Small, friendly staff. Beautiful rural environment. Taking call required. Mammo experience a plus, but not required.
Required Education: High school graduation and an AS degree in radiological technology, plus the satisfactory completion and graduation from a formal radiologic technology training program at an AMA approved school are required. Current BLS CPR Certification is required.
Experience: Has passed the registry exam given by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT). Must hold and maintain ARRT certificate. Must hold and maintain a California License in Radiology Technology (CRT). Must have a good working knowledge of Radiology and CT. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a good working knowledge of radiology.
