The Beckley VA Medical Center seeks a general Radiologist to join their expanding and robust 100% filmless radiology team. Seeking an individual that can read and interrupt most radiology modalities while using GE and Cannon equipment.
The department comprises very friendly, collegial, and very competent staff that performs an average of 32,000 imaging studies annually. The facility recently installed a GE 450 1.5T wide bore Air Recon (Deep Learning/ Artificial Intelligence) increasing scan times and improving image quality. Recently installed CT Scanner - Cannon 16 Cm detector (660 Slice) which allows us to offer coronary CTA, and virtual colonoscopies in addition to other CTAs and general study exams. We have a multipurpose room using Cannon for fluoroscopy procedures and interventional pain management. In addition, we have nuclear medicine 2 SPECT cameras as well as mobile PET/CT service to include PSMA. The Beckley VA Medical Center has an image-sharing agreement with most surrounding universities and a higher level of care facilities.
The schedule consists of Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., No holidays, No Weekends, and No calls.
