Learn more at www.multicarejobs.orgPosition Summary:The Neurophysiology Tech Trainee develops competency in and performs the basics of neurophysiology testing and associated interventions under the direction and supervision of a Neurophysiology Technologist. This is a technical trainee position functioning with direct supervision. Work situations require extensive training and the application of obtained knowledge in the field of Neurophysiology, and sound clinical judgments, actions, and decision-making. Internal contacts are basically within the work group but may include patient care staff and management throughout the Medical Center. This position has external contacts with physicians as well as extensive direct patient care and patient contact on a daily basis. Employee will become a Neurophysiology Technologist when all principal accountabilities are achieved and documented on at least ten patients.Minimum Requirements:Six months of direct patient care experience preferred.Education/Licenses/Certifications:High school graduate or equivalent preferred, and CPR Certification.
