Job Description

MSK's Department of Radiology (https://www.mskcc.org/departments/radiology) seeks a highly motivated and successful physician leader who excels in program building and faculty development in a complex and fast-paced environment. The successful individual will report to the Department Chair. Primary job responsibilities include:

• Oversight of clinical, academic, and administrative aspects of the Body Imaging Service with an emphasis on continuous improvement via strategic planning.
• Ensuring a coordinated approach to the achievement of excellent patient care by fostering a sense of community both within the Body Imaging Service (including radiologists based in Manhattan and throughout the Regional Network), with the other Services of MSK's Department of Radiology and with physicians and scientists in other Departments.
• Conducting and nurturing cutting-edge body imaging research and education.
• Recruitment of new and development existing faculty, including the provision of opportunities in local, national, and international forums.
• Maintaining compliance with departmental and institutional policies, as well as government rules

and regulations.

The ideal candidate should be/have:

• Board-eligible or Board-certified in diagnostic radiology.
• Eligible for both New York and New Jersey state full medical license.
• Outstanding professional virtuosity in clinical service, education, and research.
• Interpersonal effectiveness and leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, unite, and empower others.
• Vision to lead MSK's Body Imaging Service in the rapidly evolving field of academic radiology.
• Resilient, inspirational, as well as fair and inclusive leadership style with the ability to inspire confidence; translate personal commitment into collective energy; and foster performance excellence.
• Superb communication skills.
• Courage and capacity to unite and instill a common purpose in a large and diverse Service.

Salary: $550,000 - $625,000.

Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
