Practice Overview:
- Our new associate will join 12 other endocrinologists supported by 4 APCs who enjoy a favorable call schedule and the benefits of working for the area's largest employer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Hybrid inpatient and outpatient practice
- In office procedures include continuous glucose monitoring, thyroid ultrasound, and thyroid biopsies
- Dedicated Endocrine testing unit and active outpatient diabetes teaching program to assist with CGMS, insulin pump starts and education and classes for patients with DM1 and DM2
- Opportunity to work with metabolic abnormalities of transgender and HIV patients 1 day per week
- Opportunity to teach fellows/residents/medical students
- Eligibility for faculty appointment at the University of South Florida, LVHN's academic affiliate
- Monthly Endocrinology Journal Club/Case Review
- 2 Pediatric Endocrinologists on staff
- Opportunity to participate and mentor residents & fellows in a clinical and QI research projects
- Our division participates in a multidisciplinary Endocrine Tumor Board
Job Qualifications:
- A network champion for Endocrinology and a passion for clinical work
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
