We are seeking a full-time optometrist to join our nationally recognized and award-winning Mercy Eye Specialists in Springfield, MO. Fellowship training or extensive medical experience is preferred. We are looking for a strong candidate to treat and follow eye disease, collaborating with our Ophthalmologists on staff. Our Ophthalmology team in Springfield consists of nine ophthalmologists and five optometrists. Retina, glaucoma, cornea, refractive, and pediatric subspecialties are all well-represented. This comprehensive team allows you to serve your patients' needs, in 1 of 5 independent locations. Strong growth is projected over next three to five years. • Specialized equipment such as Optos Camera, Autorefractor, ERG, OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, Fundus Camera.
• Dedicated eye surgery center, performing 6000+ surgeries annually.
• OR suites are equipped with state of the art technology such as femtosecond laser, superior microscope technology with live OCT, heads up display and more.
• Two techs per optometrist.
