Radiology Technologist Lead - Radiology - FT/Days

SUMMARY: Proficiently performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures with mastery; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve superior quality studies under a variety of conditions with no supervision. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Serves as a clinical resource for Radiology. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma/GED AND a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology OR a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology. College Degree - 4 year preferred. BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License and RT-R - ARRT Reg Tech Radiography Required. RHF - Rad Tech/Fluoroscopy License required within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required. Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred. Demonstrates experience or high level of competency in working with leadership to improve technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, maintain or develop exam protocols, mentoring or teaching in respective specialty, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department. Demonstrates experience to lead a team, coordinate work schedules, improving technical performance, implementing new technology and/or software applications, maintaining or developing scanning protocols, ACR application process, mentoring or teaching in respective specialty, and/or improving operational efficiency within their department.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period. Day shifts.

PAY RANGE: $40.85 - $65.60
