Overview:

Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia (a part of The US Oncology Network) has an immediate opportunity for a self-motivated Full Time Medical D osimetrist at our freestanding clinic in Conyers, GA located in the Atlanta area .

The candidate will join a dynamic group dedicated to the highest quality of patient care and will be involved in all aspects of treatment planning including 3D conformal, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS and HDR using state of the art equipment. The dosimetrist must be able to work independently as well as with the team.

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for one of RCOG's freestanding facilities that is currently lead by one physician and treating approximately 30 external beam patients per day on a Varian iX accelerator with 120-leaf Millennium MLC. The facility has a GE Light Speed CT scanner, access to mobile GammaMed HDR units, utilizes Eclipse TPS and ARIA v16 for record and verify, and is networked to all other locations. Mobius3D, MIM, and Radformation tools EZFluence and ClearCheck are also utilized.

The successful candidate will join a tightly knit and dynamic group of six dosimetrists and six physicists. The regional RCOG practice has one of the largest prostate seed implant programs in the Southeast. Seed implants are done offsite at neighboring hospitals.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Credentials as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD); a current and valid certification as a qualified medical dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).

Applicants will be hired into the title appropriate to their credentials and years of experience.
