Functioning under minimal supervision, oversees the daily operations of assigned section. The appropriate Lead Radiology Technologist operates equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologist.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Knowledge of anatomical positioning and human physiology as appropriate to modality.
* Knowledge of radiation protection as warranted.
* The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents as required.
* Appropriate problem solving skills to handle staffing and personnel issues.
