Department Overview

* ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist.
* Minimum of 4-6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to learn CT protocols including exams with contrast.
* Knowledge of standards precautions, radiology quality principles and patient confidentiality requirements.
* Knowledge of and ability to use basic life support actions.
* Ability to work overtime as well as on-call, evening, night and weekend hours.
* Knowledge of principles of radiation safety and protection.

Normally promoted from: Radiologic Technologist
May be promoted to: CT/MRI Technologist
