Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonographer Technologist at the Rockaway Urgent Care to work various shifts including weekends when needed. Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Prepares patients for US exams and explains the procedure to the patients prior to exam.Correlates the clinical history and the patient with the US exam to be performed. Differentiates artifacts from the normal pathological processes and recognizes equipment limitations. Maintains lists of sonographic exams performed from each patient as well as document the preliminary reading by the radiologists. Troubleshoot problems regarding eaily operation of equipment-notifying appropriate personnel in the event
