Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech for the Vascular Lab at Morristown Medical Center. Required hours vary including 2 Saturdays a month (8:00am-4:00pm) and on call as needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Performs all venous exams including insufficiencies, arterial studies to include duplex, bypass grafts and PVR's, abdominal duplex including renal artery, mesenteric and portals.
• Will also perform hemodialysis access and vein mappings according to department protocols. .
• Ability to communicate results to physicians and complete necessary paperwork.
• Use vascular computer modules to document findings.
• Ability to work as a team. Provides outstanding patient care.

Qualifications:

• To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.
• Continuing education strongly preferred.
• Physical and cognitive requirements: Position`s physical requirements necessitate a full range of body motion including but not limited to, physically assisting patients, requiring stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.

Licenses/Certifications:

• RVT/RVS or eligible must obtain registration within one year of hire date required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
