Required:

• Strong foundation and training in Molecular and Cell Biology or related field.
• Good work ethics, strong communication skills, honesty and ability to work well as part of a collaborative research team.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory safety and protocol creation.
• Experience using basic laboratory equipment (centrifuges, PCR machines, pH meter, balances and microscopes).
• General knowledge of chemistry and meticulous preparation of reagents.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is a must. Conducting research experiments and documenting experiments will be required.
• Knowledge of basic cell and molecular biology techniques.
• Must be responsible and able to work independently and to supervise students.
• Knowledge of PC computers, spreadsheets and word processing programs to perform basic technical duties such as logging in reagents and data analysis.
• Motivated individual who can maintain a positive and supportive attitude.
