About our Radiologic/Imaging Sciences Program
Radiologic and Imaging Sciences is an ever-evolving and essential field in modern healthcare. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences at Valencia College is designed to build upon a student's previous education and professional experience in medical imaging. This program prepares students for leadership roles in modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Quality Management.
Through a combination of online coursework and hands-on clinical experience, students enhance their technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and critical thinking skills to advance in their careers. Valencia’s program supports continuing education for professionals who wish to broaden their scope of practice or move into supervisory, educational, or administrative roles within the imaging field.

Required Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Radiology, Health, or a related field and the following:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration (current)
Preferred Experience:
2 years of clinical experience in RTE, CT, MRI, and/or Mammography
2 years of online teaching experience
This position will require both online and face-to-face teaching modalities to teach courses here
Contract Workload: 10-Month Tenure Track o (5) 3-contact hour classes per term (fall/spring); (2) 3-contact hour classes in one summer term or equivalent o 10 student engagement hours and 10 college service hours per week for a minimum 35-hour work week o The length of contract is in accordance with the academic calendar

Salary Information: Salary is determined based on relevant work experience and the highest degree earned. The salary ranges for each degree level are outlined below:
