Overview This is a full-time MRI Technologist position located at North Hospital. The hours are Thursday and Friday 6a-6p Saturday 7a-7p. Call and Holidays required. Sign-on bonus available to eligible applicants! Possesses knowledge of MRI safety and safety zones. Reviews patient history and screens for safety concerns (ferromagnetic objects, implanted devices, etc.). Educates patients on what to expect and ensures they are safe and comfortable during their scan. Obtains IV access, prepares and administers contrast and is familiar with recognizing and responding to adverse contrast events. Possesses advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
