Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
Overview This position is full time, nights. The shift is 4-10's, Monday-Thursday, 10pm-8am, with holidays, at University Hospital. New hire bonus available for those who are eligible!Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR.
