Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, is seeking a dynamic and experienced radiologist to serve as Chief of Breast Imaging. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee and advance a well-established breast imaging program within an academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the breast imaging division, including clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic growth
- Serve as the Lead Interpreting Physician for FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and quality standards
- Provide expert interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
- Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localizations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgery, oncology, and pathology, to deliver comprehensive breast care
- Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in and support clinical research and academic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Missouri
- Demonstrated leadership experience and strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to academic excellence and collaborative team-based care
