Job Description:

Supports Teleradiology and Locum Tenens operations. Assists with creating section meeting agendas and provides support during section meetings. Assists with tumor board, journal club, and hospital committee preparation. Follows up with radiologists on expirable items such as Medical Licenses and DEAs. Tracks and uploads renewables to appropriate locations. Attends department meetings and promotes positive dialogue regarding department objectives. Performs other duties as assigned. Demonstrates understanding of all pertinent procedures and policies, including HIPAA regulations, the physician-to-physician communication policy, and over-read procedures. Appropriately uses Radiologist's schedule and worklist rotations to facilitate processes. Provides direct administrative support to Section Chiefs. Acts as scheduling liaison for Radiologist meetings. Assists in coordinating exams once they reach Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) by ensuring timely reading and report delivery to ordering and referring physicians.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Work Experience:
• Experience as Radiology Facilitator I or equivalent [Required]
• Experience in Radiology Department [Preferred]
• Experience with computer and medical software applications [Required]
